Memorial Day...Thank a Vet

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

Take a moment to say,

"Thank-you!."

The Poppies Blow

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

~Written by John McCrae~

I love that poem! Somehow, strangely enouogh,I've never seen the whole poem, just references to it. Thanks for printing it and reminding us what today is really all about!
