Mailbox Monday, February 22, 2010

As most of you know Mailbox Monday is hosted by Marcia at The Printed Page. Thank you once again Marcia for hosting this weekly event. :)

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week (checked out library books don’t count, eBooks & audio books do). Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

This week in my mailbox:

Pieces of Sky, by Kaki Warner
Imperfect Birds, by Anne Lamott
The Confessions of Catherine De Medici, by C.W. Gortner
The Lotus Eaters, by Tatjana Soli
Game Change, by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin
The Help, by Kathryn Stockett

The Lotus Eaters and Imperfect Birds appeal to me the most. I read The Help and loved it. Enjoy them all.

Definitely bump The Help up your reading list to the very near future part of the stack! A great book -- grabs you right at the beginning and before you know it you have read 60 pages! Enjoy!

Great Box.. Like Amy we have the Gortner read for the HF Bloggers Round Table, & I am sure it is going to be as totally awesome as his last novel. He is a superb writer.
I also want to get THE HELP for future reading for pleasure, it is so popular that there has to be a good reason for it. Enjoy your books!
My mailbox is here.

I absolutely loved The Help, it made my favourite read list in 2009. You lucky ducky getting Gortner's book so early, I have a copy coming in a month. The Last Queen was fantastic!

I have a couple of these on my shelf waiting to be read, The Lotus Eaters and The Help. The others sound good, too. Happy reading!
