Sunday Salon-Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms today. My mom lives vividly in my memories and I think about her every day. Here is a poem that we found in her wallet after she died. It was so like her to be concerned about others, even those she ultimately left behind.

I have been fighting advanced Lyme Disease although I didn't know it. Unfortunately, the symptoms are so varied and tend to mimic other illnesses. Finally, it all makes sense, but it hasn't been easy. As many of you know, Mystery has been sick. The good news is she is doing really well now. Yeah, Mystery!! However, Webster is now having his troubles. His birthday was yesterday, and he is now 11. After two weeks, he seems to be doing much better.

I have missed the blogging and sharing and hope I'll be able to get back all of you soon.

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Happy Mother's Day to you as well. Touching that you hold your mother's memory so close to you, and that she sought to provide you comfort even after she was gone. Wishing you all the best.

Happy Mother's Day, Wisteria!

I'm happy to hear that Mystery is getting better and I hope Webster will feel better soon. My Hiro went to the vet today and came back with an E-collar. He's got eye ulcers and I hope it'll go away soon.

So sorry to hear about the advanced Lyme Disease.

I was diagnosed with it as well about (3-4) years ago, but have been doing well except for joint pain from time to time. (Fortunately, I had the 30 day heavy duty pill therapy in time).

Glad to hear Mystery is better, but sorry about his buddy now.

Take care

What a lovely poem. I just discovered your blog here today when I started clicking through on some of my top library matches on Library Thing. Considering that the first review I found was The Heretic Queen, which I just reviewed an loved too, I think it was a good match! Looking forward to following you! Jennifer (aka, The Lit Witch)

Frances..She was special.

Laurel...Thanks and Happy Mother's Day back. :)

Alice...Sorry to hear about Hiro...wishing him fast healing light.

Diane..Can't believe how this can interfere with daily life. Sorry to hear you also contacted it. Awful that it lingers. I've been on antibiotics for almost 2 weeks. No change yet. I'm hopeful.

LitWitch...I sent you a note on your blog and LT. Thanks for stopping by. Glad we share some common books. :)

Hope that now you know what it is that you have that you are able to given the medical aid to make it more bearable, and that your family recovers soon too.
