Global Health-200 Countries, 200 Years Visually by Professor Hans Rosling

You won't believe this video clip. Using technology to visualize data, Professor Hans Rosling presents a look at Global Health that spans 200 years and 200 countries. This was so amazing to watch, I couldn't resist sharing it with you.

So much of our lives involve collecting and filtering through data. I know as a teacher, we collect more and more information for analyzing student learning using various types of data. This video makes sharing and understanding data so clear and at the same time fascinating.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Thank you for posting this! As you said, very interesting but still easy to follow and understand. I was surprised by how optimistic he was at the end too - that we are trending toward more equally-distributed wealth and good health for all. The disparities are so vast, however, that it's great to have pieces like these to show people how excessively more wealthy they are than others around the world - and how they are in a better position that anyone else to help. Thanks again for sharing!
